Tote and box handling
Totes, boxes and carts between fixed points in warehouses and distribution centres.
For robot makers · Spain and Portugal
Shkoda Robotics opens Spain for robot makers. We have mapped the plants, written the task for each one, and we put a team on the floor to commission, certify and service your robots. One partner from first visit to running fleet.
Direct owner contact Yegor Shkoda, founder. Write to him at yegor@shkodarobotics.com; he answers himself, usually the same day.

Humanoids
Shelves, carts, cartons and doors sized for a human shift. A humanoid steps in without rebuilding the line. We make sure it does so safely, and that it keeps working after week one.
The gap
Spanish plants cannot fill manual shifts, and most robot makers reach Spain through a web shop or a reseller with no field staff. We know which makers are already here, which are not, and which plants are ready. A pilot needs someone on site every week. That is us.
Territory
We built the list plant by plant: what the site makes, how many people work there, which manual task a robot could take, and how to reach the right person through official channels.
Sites by sector, Shkoda Robotics database, October 2026. 138 sites have researched contact routes; the rest are screened.
Numbers are mapped sites per province. Drag to turn, + / − to zoom, pick a city to fly there.
Catalonia
Food, pharma, automotive and logistics, packed into one region with one airport, one port and one team on the ground.
What we do

Visit, task fit, cycle times, floor and network check, safety pre-check. You get a two-page report before any unit ships.

Unpacking, mapping, task set-up, operator training in the language of the shop floor, and the conversation with the works council.

Risk assessment under ISO 12100 and ISO 10218, installation-level conformity, documents ready for the Machinery Regulation.

First-line service from Barcelona, spare parts on the shelf, uptime reports to you and to the plant every month.
Our commitments to you
A partner is only as good as what it signs. These go into every agreement we propose.
Task, volume, floor, people, timing, fit score. You see what we saw, two days later.
Barcelona-based team; every first-wave plant is within two hours by road.
Measured uptime, interventions and throughput at week 12. Contract, extension or removal; no drift.
We never run two makers against each other on the same pilot. Leads you give us are registered to you.
Risk assessment and installation documents prepared with our safety partners for the Machinery Regulation.
Site sourcing and the first assessment are on us. Commissioning and service are quoted per day or per robot before we start.
How a pilot runs
This is the plan we propose to each plant. Dates move with the robot and the task; the order does not.
Task, shift pattern and decision-maker confirmed. Letter of interest signed by the plant.
On-site visit and report. You and the plant agree on success criteria.
Commissioning, risk assessment, operator training. Supervised runs only.
The robot works the agreed task. We log uptime, interventions and throughput.
Results go to the plant and to you. Contract, extension or removal.
What you receive
A qualified site is a document, not a promise. This is what it looks like, with the names removed.
Names, phones and the full list are shared under a signed agreement. The example above is a composite of real first-wave sites.
Week 8
Uptime, interventions and throughput logged every day from week 8 to week 12. The plant sees the numbers before it signs anything.
Partnership models
Start with one pilot. Move to a wider agreement when the numbers justify it.
| Model | What we bring | What we ask from you | Who pays for what |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pilot programme | A qualified Catalan plant, assessment, commissioning and the 12-week run. | One unit on rental or deferred terms, remote support, training for two engineers. | Site sourcing and assessment are on us. Commissioning and service days are billed as agreed. |
| Deployment partner | Commissioning and training for your Spanish customers, including those you bring. | Certification path, documentation, a named channel contact. | Day rate or fixed fee per installation, paid by you or by the end customer. |
| Service partner | First-line service, spare parts stock in Barcelona, monthly uptime reports. | Spare parts kit, service manuals, escalation line. | Monthly fee per robot in the field. |
| Territory agreement | Committed pipeline and service coverage for Spain, with Portugal as an option. | Territory protection for an agreed period. Terms are negotiated case by case. | Set in the agreement, after at least one completed pilot. |
Tasks we deploy for
Every card is backed by plants on our map with that exact task written down. The count is the number of sites in Spain where it applies.

Totes, boxes and carts between fixed points in warehouses and distribution centres.

Case packing, tray handling and palletising where the line was built for people.

Gauge reading, leak detection and night rounds in large or hazardous facilities.

Loading and unloading machining centres, presses and paint lines.

Sequencing parts and feeding assembly cells just in time.

Material supply to lines, secondary packaging and sample transport.
Who we are
A robot in a Spanish plant needs someone who speaks to the plant manager, the safety officer and the works council.
Shkoda Robotics was started in Barcelona in 2026 by Yegor Shkoda. The team is founder-led and works with technical partners for safety engineering and integration.
We are independent. We do not hold stock, we do not resell, and we are not bound to one brand. The robot is chosen for the task.
We started with Catalonia because the plants are close together: 183 of the 354 sites on our map are in the region, most within two hours of Barcelona.
Catalonia first. Then the rest of Spain and Portugal. The first pilots are being qualified now; we publish results as they come, including the ones that fail.
No deployed robots yet. What exists today is the site map, the first-wave list, the pilot process and the people to run it.
40
Robot makers reviewed for Iberian channel status
For each maker we checked the Spanish channel, the European presence and the partner programme. 26 have no local deployment or service partner. We show no logos here because we have no signed agreements yet.
FAQ
No. Today we are an independent deployment and service partner. Distribution can be discussed after a first pilot and only under a signed agreement.
Yes, we deploy more than one platform and choose by task. For a committed partner we can agree protection by robot category or by territory.
You can contract the hardware or the subscription directly with the plant while we contract the services. Plants we introduce are registered to us for an agreed period.
Technical training for two engineers, a pilot unit on rental or deferred terms, a spare parts kit, the documents needed for the conformity file, and one named contact on your side.
With our technical partners we prepare the risk assessment (ISO 12100, ISO 10218 where it applies) and the installation-level file required by the Machinery Regulation from 20 January 2027. We also brief the works council before the robot arrives.
Site sourcing and the first assessment are at our cost. Commissioning and service are billed per day or per robot per month, to you or to the end customer, as agreed. No retainer is needed to start.
Nothing yet. Shkoda Robotics started in 2026 and the first pilots are in preparation. We prefer to say so here than in the first call.

Thirty minutes on a video call. We show you the sites that fit your robot and you tell us what a partner must deliver.
